There is no specific treatment for the novel virus COVID 19 or Coronavirus. However, many of the symptoms can be treated and therefore treatment based on the patient’s clinical condition. Moreover, supportive care for infected persons can be highly effective.

Blocking the virus by using antiviral drugs. Several drugs are available for treatment of novel coronavirus.

1. Remdesivir which stops viruses from replicating by inserting itself into new viral genes.
2. Favipiravir is a flu drug that blocks a virus’s ability to copy its genetic material.
3. EIDD-2801 which is an antiviral drug which can able to block virus.
4. Hydroxychloroquine and Chloroquine drug which is an antimalerial drug which has the capability to stop the virus replications in cells.
5. Ventilators,these are devices that help people breathe are an essential tool for whom are suffering from breathing problems dues to COVID 19.
