1What is cystic fibrosis?
Cystic fibrosis is aheriditery disease thet affects the lungs,digestive system and the other organs of the body.
Cystic fibrosis affects the areas of the body which secrets the mucus and other fluids which is slippery in nature.But in patients with cystic fibrosis the fluid becomes sticky instead of slippery and it cause the passage tubes to get blocked and the malfunction of that organ.When there is malfunction of the organs like pancreas the insulin does not pass through the duct and it causes the patinet to be diabetic and it affects the absorption of the food.
In cystic fibrosis the bile become more thicker and it makes the duct to get blocked so it has difficulty to flow in the liver .When there is diminished flow the liver get inflammed and scarring.Sever damage can become permant and can cause liver cirrhosis.
