The disadvantages of paper medical records are,

1. Audit and other monitoring is very difficult
2. Inconsistent layout
3. Lack of backups so limited security
4. Time consuming and ease to error

The elecronic health records are more secure than paper health records they are safe during catatropic events like floods,Erth quake,and tornado,and it is easier to recollect the data from the electronic health record so no need for search the entire storage fecility,there will be legibility and accuracy of medical data and the humen errors can be avoidable in the electronic health data,and it is easily sharable with difrent health care fecilities if needed.

The data base normally stores the data in a table format, A spread sheet keeps the data values in cells the cells manages the system of colums and rows,each cell values can be processing on other cell values if needed.
