Technology is used for medication administration, patient identification, and increasing continuity of care. The application of technology and information management helps to support safe, quality care. Another responsibility of the professional nurse is to identify and utilize valid evidence-based practices. To ensure that best practices take place in healthcare, the nurse must understand when a modification to evidence-based practices is necessary.Provide an example of RN experience(s) with technology, patient confidentiality, and evidence-based practices. This can either be from a healthcare perspective and everyday life.

Ans) Registered Nurses use computers to schedule staff, for timekeeping, to order medications or supplies, and for research and email. In some organizations, nurses use computers for all patient care documentation, using systems called electronic health records or electronic medical records – EHRs and EMRs.

- Nurses require a number of skills, especially interpersonal skills in order to successfully work with doctors, patients, family members, and other staff. In my opinion, the personality traits that make nurses most effective are patience, compassion, and attention to detail.

- Biggest strengths is compassion and ability to solve difficult problems.

- Weakness are paying too much attention to detail, Wanting to do everything at once, spending too long on paperwork, getting irritated when other nurses don’t pull their weight, and it shows.
