Answer: The bacterial growth can occurs anyolace where it gets favourable conditions. So, while treating patients, the chances of the bacterial Contamination increases. The surgical rooms are design in such a way that it doesn't provide the favourable condition for the bacterial growth. Huge air filters are being set up in the surgical rooms. For example the use of the hepa filter which reduces the bacterial incursion. The surgical equipments are sterile and gloves are disposed after every use. This could prevent infectious disease too. The surgical area are cleaned so that it may not increases the risk of bacterial growth.

The process of infection include:

  • Agent: Here agent means the type of the microbes or the bacteria which may cause infection.
  • Reservoir : The habitat in which the agent survives. It can be explained as the human or animal or the object which carriers or keep the microbes.
  • Portal of entry and exit. : Through which the microbes enters to our body. For example through respiratory tract while breathing.
