Iam the nurse on 1st floor , calling about patient X because he suffering from alcohol withdrawal delirium

BACKGROUND-

He was admitted on so and so date with alcohol withdrawal delirium

ASSESSMENT -

I think the problem is alcohol withdrawal delirium i have given intravenous fluids, anticonvulsant to stop siezures, sedative to calm and treat anxiety , antipsychotic to treat hallucinations , treatment for alcohol related diseases

RECOMMENDATIONS -

I recomend to transfer this patient to floor
