Now that the ACA/AHCA is in full effect, how do you think this will impact the need for quality health care practitioners? How will this impact the quality of healthcare overall - or in the long term view? What do you think are the Pros and Cons of the current legislation? (minimum of 200 words)
ACA is the affordable care act that is focused on the provision of quality health care at affordable prices and the provision of innovative medical care delivery at a low cost. Under the ACA, there is an increase in the access of quality health care and more demand for quality health care practitioners to provide high-quality care. This leads to increase in hiring more health care practitioners in most of the health care institutes. For the quality care the health practitioner needs to do more training, need to undergo many courses and programs. for all this, there is a need of the money. Under ACA, the health care practitioners are not getting adequate income and moreover they have to spend less time with the patient and do more time in paperwork for the insurance. In the long term, ACA will provide benefits to the patient to access quality care at affordable prices, but for the health care practitioner, it is difficult to provide high-quality care because of low money income from the insurance. This may impact to reduce supporting ACA and reduce providing high-quality care at affordable price for the needy people. The pros of ACA are the beneficiary can get high-quality care at low price, free preventive care, the insurance company cannot deny or cancel for the mistake done by the beneficiary. The cons are, the person who are not qualified for subsidies also getting the benefit, many small insurance companies need to cut off cost for implementing ACA, it reduces the income of the health care practitioner that may impact their life.
