Audience are people who receive the information. In medical field it is the patient and his or her relatives are the audience. They should understand what the doctor or nurse has been told to them.
The audience need to know about the language by which the message is conveyed to them. The knowledge of that language is necessary to understand and analyse the information.
Any electronic media will be effective in conveying the message. Whether it is email, flyer etc they can deliver the message as early as possible.
