Qulaity care improve nursing practice in the care of the older people. patient centred care should focus on relationship of nurese with attitude, behavior that reflect on elder people to provide adequate care. it encourage nurse to focus on values and behavior.nagatitie attitude causes poor quality care that make nurses to lose their ability to accurately assess the patient and their health care needs. it reduce the elders ability to maintain autonomy for their freedom and health care choices.
My experience when I was working with older people I used patient centered care that il will listen to them, treat them as a individual and understand their rights and values.i will respect dignity and confidentiality and I will empower older person and encourage autonomy, it made mutual trust and understanding between us.
