Duty of care is an obligation to take responsible care that avoids injury and harm to an older person, it may be reasonable one should exactly about the nature of care. duty of care under legal aspects of negligence belongs to the domain of common law.
Examples:
- respect the elder person's rights and wishes in a respectful manner. when elders prefer to do some kind of activity and expressing their emotional illness listen to them and support them and fulfill their rights with respect.
- Prevent harm, carelessness to elder person. use the standard of care as a responsibility to care for them. avoid sharp objects around them that prevent them from injury. help elders balance foreseeable harm with the benefit of an activity.
