explain the reason why you should palm the label before pouring a liquid?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

A definitive procedure should be followed while pouring the liquid from the bottle especially when it is sterile liquid solution.

For example while opening the sterile liquid bottle , the rim of the bottle should not be touched because that part should remain sterile while pouring sterile liquid.

In the same way while pouring the liquid the label should be against the palm so that it protects the label on the bottle from the dripping liquid. And also the clean label can be read properly, if the liquid keep on dripping over the label then it would become difficult to read the label.
