2. Does the company trump ethical or legal obligations?

3. Does this "policy of noninterference" (other than to call 911) in a medical emergency extend to other kinds of emergencies? The woman collapsed in the dining hall, so it is not inconceivable that she could have slipped with her knife and cut an artery?

4. Would the nurse simply watch her exsanguinate while 911 is on its way? If she slipped and fell and hit her head, would she be ignored until the emergency squad arrived?

Answer 1: The nursing profession is a life long learning process. They have responsibilities to take care of the patients at any cost. Hence it they see patient on the road side, they must perform their duty. For example if any accidental case occurs on the road side, the nurse need to provide the first aid and support to the patient. It is duty and obligation to them. So, the nurse should take action and provide the treatment on the spot as required. This could be also done due to humanity. Everyone should help each other in this kind of situation.
