Answer: The identity can be defined as the characteristics which define the person. It means that it includes the habits, view, ways a person thinks about himself is the identity of that person. Same like this, the identity is a number which has been assign every real number. Whereas, the correlation can be defined as the relationship between the two variables which are dependent on each other.

It is important to distinguish between two concepts as these both have vast differences. And it reveals about the dependent variables as well as real identity of the particular research or a experiment.
