cyclooxygenasee enzyme the helps in production of prostaglandins

Prostaglandins acts centrally and reduce the threshold of central pain circuit that leads to increased pain

Peripherally prostaglandins sensitize the nerve endings to bradykinin and histamine that increase the pain

Prostaglandins (PGE2 ) as increase the heat production and reduce the heat loss mechanism which leads to increased temperature

So by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase enzyme it reduces the prostaglandins production that intern effect the pain and temperature
