Global health is an important security phenomenon. Noncommunicable diseases, pandamic, environmental factors, economic disparities and access to health care are some of the global health issues. Nurses make a major contribution by addressing various health issues. Also, they are leaders who make a positive difference by advocating for health and providing health care through out the world. Globally, nurses provide 90% of all health care services. The nurses we know are passionate, fiery advocates for patients rights and Thier fellow nurses. This members combined with hard- earned credibility and a will to bring about changes.

Evidence based practice is the conscientious and judicious current best evidence in conjunction with clinical expertise and patient values to guide health care decisions. For example , nurses play a key role in helping to prevent illness before it happens by adhering to evidence- based infection-control policies. This includes keeping the health care environment clean, wearing personal protective clothing, using barrier precautions and practicing correct handwashing.

There are many other examples for evidence based practice in the daily practice of nursing:

1) Infection control

2) Use of oxygen in patients with COPD

3) Measuring blood pressure noninvasively in children

4) Intravenous catheter size and blood administration.
