This is because visually impaired patients are unable to see and hence they are at high risk of fall. :

  • Remove any kind of obstacle in the pathway such as chair table.
  • The patient should have easy access to the washroom.
  • The room once set in a proper way should not be changed frequently. This would disturb the patients understandimg and it may confuse them.
  • Provide support to the patient such as sticks that could let them easily access their needs.
