Allergic rhinitis is defined as inflammation of the mucosa membrane of the nose.The signs and symptoms are itching,watery nose and so on.Sinusitis are inflammation of the lining of a sinus.

The commonly used for rhinitis and sinusitis are follows:

1)Nasal contestants,which include adrenergic,anticholinergic and corticosteroid medications.

a.Nonglucocorticoids include naphazoline,oxymetazoline,tetrahydrozoline.

b.Glucocorticoids include budesonide,ciclesonide and so on.

2)Antihistamines:These medications compete with histamine fir receptor site ,thus preventing a histamine response.The drugs include,cetirizine,cyproheptadine,chlorpheniramine and so on

3)leukotriene modifiers: Includes,montelukast,zileuton
