The ATI, (Assessment Technologies Institute) is an institute that conducts the test that are known as TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills). These test are conducted to ascertain the capability of applicants who want to join nursing programs or health sciences programs.

There are currently two versions of the TEAS 6 test which is manually (paper and pencil) or electronically (through computers)

As per August 2016, TEAS 6 is being currently used for the applicants tests and there are 170 questions that are to be answered within a specified time limit that is being set.

There are 4 sections on which the applicant will be assessed, they are;

Mathematics, Science, Reading and English.

Each of these sections will a set of questions and a time frame to answer the same.
