Answer #1

Path of blood through the heart.

  • Blood collected by superior vena cava from the upper part of the body and by inferior vena cava from the lower part of the body delivered to Right atrium of Heart.
  • Then blood from the right atrium goes to the Right ventricle via the Right atrioventricular valve(Right AV Valve).
  • Blood goes from Right Ventricle to Pulmonary aorta via Pulmonary valve.
  • Then blood goes to lungs for oxygenation
  • Blood enters in Left atrium by Pulmonary vein.
  • When Left atrium pumps blood goes to Left ventricle via Mitral valve.
  • Then blood goes to Aorta from the Left ventricle via Aortic valve.
  • Then Aorta distributes oxygenated blood throughout body via various arteries.
