The medical assistant would make patient positioned to supine.Then the bag of saline irrigation solution is hanged to the uphold. The medical assistant will guide the patient about the procedure.

Some of the reasons a licensed practitioner might order an eye irrigation procedure are:

• In the case where harmful chemicals got inside the eye.
• Dust particles which can't come out itself or may harm the eye.
