The most common complication after rhinoplasty is bleeding which happens in 1st week after rhinoplasty ,this is anticipated by nurse by observing the repeated swallowing of patient  

Nurse need the nasal speculum and head lamp for accessing the nose

First ask the patient to sit right and bent forward so that he doesn't swallow the blood ,ask him avoid stress which may increase blood pressure it leads to bleeding ,avoid bending , vigorous movements

Emotional reactions also have major impact on nose
