Before she got this specialized stethoscope, she was removing and replacing her hearing aids repeatedly during her shift. Her headphones have eliminated these extra steps. How would you explain the need to use an adaptive device for a chronic condition to your patients If you were in a situation such as this?   • Provide examples of patient who uses it .This is a support system to a patient that assistive device can be used to treat chronic condition to lead a normal life life others
  • Remove any stigma using health education because patient using assistive device faces this problem in the society. Providing them the psychological support and guidance can improve their quality of life by making appropriate decision.

If in this situation this might not influence the patient's attitude if proper knowledge,skills and professionalism are exhibited by a nurse.
