Answer: Despite of their cultural differences, all the patient should be provided equal care and treatment. In this case, the Catholic nun requires the patient education. Hence it is important to provide cultural competence environment to the patient. It means that it is necessary to understand the spiritual and traditional needs of the patient. The patient should be educated with considering their religious beliefs. The nurse need to inform the patient about the procesures and necessity of the test. So, keeping in mind that the patient is Catholic nun, the nurse need to understand that they might not like to uncoveree their head in front of the other person. Hence it is important to intervene the condition, discuss with the patient and then provide cultural competence environment for the radiographs and other procedures.
