I'm not sure I understand this question, but maybe it means to talk about technology currently used to promote community health, and some challenges or short-comings of that technology. The only technology that I can think of is the use of ipads for documenting in the community. I need two others and how they may present challenges.

1. The retrieval of old data which is relevant in cross sectional analysis or case control studies especially in case of pandemics, is usually not possible when the required details are aged more than two decades.

2. There are more chances for manipulations and editing in the documentation due to technology driven procedures, which are potential for many medical errors and ethical misconducts.

3. Technical glitch in online patient counselling as the recipients or patients are not always supposed to have a high speed accessible internet.
