Identify a disruptive innovation in healthcare (i.e. one that completely changed the market). Why was t revolutionary? How did it change healthcare? How can you be prepared for change? References please!

NOTE: The concept of disruptive innovation can be confusing. It is not a better method to do something, but a new and different way that often causes the disappearance of what it replaces. Think of photography; the emergence of digital technology virtually destroyed the film industry (e.g., Kodak).

Disruptive innovation in healthcare is blood pressure sensor that is available as a device and as will as in your smartphone. This was revolutionary because the conventional blood pressure machine was very hard to carry everywhere and measuring from it was very cumbersome process but the new blood pressure measuring device just have one sensor and you need to scan your vein and within seconds you get the results. It changed the healthcare as mostly all the people are now able to measure their blood pressure and can now about if anything is wrong which people used to ignore in the past. So, that people are treated well before anything happens just because they know their blood pressure every time.
