Depression is a mood disorder which can be described as feelings of sadness, loss or anger that interfere with a persons daily activities. People often experience depression in many ways. They may interfere in the personallife and relationships, sometimes deal with daily activties etc.This depression can sometimes worsen other disease conditions too.Depression often affects the mood, sometimes it may affect the body too.Common symtoms of depression includes;

mood varations

feeling of emptiness and sadness

loss of interest in the favourite activities

inability to concentrate

sleep disturbances

fatigue, pain, headache etc.

impairment in cognitive abliilties.

The common causes or reasons of occurence of depression are;

  • family hstory
  • eary childhood trauma
  • if frontal lobe of the brain is less active
  • due to any medical conditions
  • drug use
