Its the period of generation alpa now.In the United States, the elderly population continues with their jobs and the reason may be either their own  preference or inadequate resources for retirement. Much younger generation, which is the Millennial Generation, is now predominatng the health sector and even now accounts for almost 100% of resident physicians. Now in the year 2020, it is assumed that over 5 generations are in the workplace. The same trend may follow in the coming years too.

Few changes adopted over recent years with varying generations are adopting mobile gadgets as preferred communication tools; utilisation of social media platforms ans sites  for hiring employees; innovations in teaching of health care workers like games, simulations, and use of interactive videos for better understanding of concepts and mastery of skills , Multidisciplinary team approach and team learning with professionals from different specialities leading to progress in health care services and outcomes.

The multigenerational challenges necessitates the needs to change. Embracing diversity as unexceptional requirement for both practice and learning; and providing both coaching and mentoring may influence the development of heath care industry in the coming years too.

Improvised technologies: the robotic era is evolving with advancements in robotic surgeries and robotic technologies are or will be utilised in all fields of medicine that may cause reduction in the manpower needed and increase the cost of health care services.
