Licensed practical nurses (LPN) can perform all action while working with a nurse and nursing assistant. LPN has about a year of nursing education, they work under the instructions of any physician and registered nurse.
1) LPN evaluates the patient nurse plan and provide intervention because she has knowledge about it.
2)LPN assess new admission patient- patient's problem, history taking, vital signs checking and physical examination.
3) If the patient has bed sore, she changes the pressure ulcer dressing in every shift.
4) when the patient is paralysed, she changes patient's position.
All activities are performed by LPN, because those are the basic responsibilities of LPN.
