1. Importance of identifying probable precautions early for a nurse:

The nurses may get infected with the disease during the provision of nursing care. This is due to occupational exposure to microorganisms, virus or other which may cause disease. So, nurses should aware of standard precautions to protect themselves from disease-causing organisms.

2. Standard precautions:

These are the set of guidelines which include infection control practices that are followed to stop the transmission of diseases. The diseases that can be acquired by contact with blood, body fluids, non-intact skin (including rashes), and mucous membranes.
