Liver cirrhosis is extensive scarring of the liver caused by narcotic injury or a chronic reaction to inflammation over a prolonged period of time. The main causes include alcohol abuse, viral hepatitis, fatty food etc.

The clinical findings include the presence of tarry stools due to the gastrointestinal bleeding ( enlarged veins develop and burst, causing blood in bowel movement.

Rounded and distended abdomen is a expected findings in cirrhosis due to ascites ( fluid accumulation in abdomen. )

Blood in the urine and moist skin is not a expected finding in cirrhosis.
