Clinical supervision is process based upon a chemically focused relationship between the member of staff engaged in practice. Nursing supervision provide and create an environment data permits and provokes quality care. Role of supervisor are supports the nursing administration through proper planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care system, designing and maintaining the standard of practice accessing the quality of care rendered, initiating the development big nursing services, policies and procedures, ensuring sound nursing practice, resource management and training retention of qualified staff, statiseital information of nursing budget.

In health care environment there are many catalyses for change, it includes state regulation, increased utilisation, patients expectations, competition, declining reimbursement and technologist shortage. This changes creates pressure internally. According to this changes health care supervisors temp to sueezed between the need to implement change and need to support the staff members. When change is implemented it is important to understand that usually people will move through four stages of reaction: denial, resistance, exploration and commitment. Every individual will go through these four stages, but the speed at which they move through them wil be different. As a supervisor he/ she also undergo these four stages. Higher authorities need to assist and support employees. Then introducing and implement change: repair all employees, plan thoroughly, develop a transitional line of authorities, stay flexible during implementation and encourage self management, acknowledging those who helped them to make the change. To implement changes us sucessfullly as possible through proper communication about change, deal with resistance, increased team involvement and support and use visionary leadership.
