Ambulatory clinics are playing a vital role in present modern health care delivery system. Ambulatory care clinic is a health care facility that is primarily focused on out patient care. Ambulatory care is also called out patient care. It is defined as the medical care provided to the patient on out patient basis, which including diagnosis, observation, consultation, treatment, intervention and rehabilitation services. And this care can include advance medical technology and procedures that provided out side the hospital.

Now a days many hospital are providing the ambulatory care for the patients who can be treated without admitting in the hospital. for example like Child with simple fracture, some type of eye care etc. not need hospitalization for the patients. Patients prefer the ambulatory care clinics, because most of them want to avoid spending time in hospital. And hospitals also encourage the ambulatory clinic system to ensure that medical care facility for the critically ill patients.
