Clarification is the currently undiagnosed diseases often associated with ache or pain and cramps in the legs usually post exercise. It settles down usually with rest.
The other medical conditions like Peripheral vascular disease, peripheral arterial disease.
These may be induced due to deconditioning( bed rest),medication for treating hypertension has a side effects of aching and cramps in legs.He is also overweight which might lead to increased cholesterol levels (Hypercholestrolemia)
