Acute lymphoblastic leukemia is a type of cancer that affects white blood cells .Its mostly occur in childhood ,it occurs when bone marrow cell develops error in its DNA.

L-Asparaginase treatment side effects are Fever, chills means flu like symptom's, Nausea and vomiting , allergic reaction, poor appetite, stomach cramping, more severe it may leads to pancreatitis.

Patient symptom's of stomach pain radiating to back, with nausea and vomiting are symptoms of pancreatitis.

Immediate nursing action for this patient* advice to have side laying position to prevent aspirations. *Plan for naso gastric insertion to prevent abdominal distention. *Encourage to have soft diet. *Inform to consultant.
