1.The average life expectacy is increasing in every country .That means people are exposed to risk factors for longer periods .Thus a policy on disease prevention can help in three levels of disesae prevention from its occurence, reducing adverse effects and suffering.

2.Increased public awareness on disease prevention can directly benefit the nationWhen the public take responsiblity on their health and change harmful behaviours can significantly reduce health conditions which in turn reduce the burden on health system.Thus the nation can allocate funds to various projects.
