Nutritional suggestions - Should not take foods rich in refined carbohydrates, or foods with high glycemic load, high-calorie foods must be avoided to prevent overweight. Foods rich in protein, green leafy vegetables, and fruits with low sugar value such as guava must be consumed. Consumption of alcohol and smoking must be avoided
Exercise guidelines - Regular aerobic exercise must be included in the lifestyle
Lifestyle changes - Spending in nature, avoiding the sedentary lifestyle, and spending with family members improves the lifestyle. Becoming a member of the team of people suffering from the same disease (diabetes) allows one to share their ideas and benefitng practices
