As stated in qestion, 2gm estimates about 5.2ml of vial in addition with normal saline.

As 2gm means 2000mg which makes of  5.2ml of vial, so for 1gm or 1000mg ,it requires about 750mg  of normal saline that means 2.5ml og normal saline and it makes around 2.6ml vial of penicillin.

As, 300mg/ml of normal saline is the constitution given, so for 5ml it will be 1500mg required for 2000mg(2gm) of penicillin.

Therefore, for 1000mg(1gm)it should be 1500*1000/2000= 750mgNS

Now, 300 mg equals to 1ml,so 750mg will comprimises of 2.5ml NS(750/300=2.5ml)

On the other hand, 2gm is making 5.2ml vial,so for 1gm, it will be 5.2/2=2.6ml vial solution.
