In such kind of a situation with a patient who has the core idea that he does not deserve happiness then the conversation for making behavioral changes should have a spiritual and a motivational touch

The individual might be suffering from depression and might have difficulty in facing life . So the nurse should be empathetic as well as motivational . The conversation should include the hope for the future as well as the good things that the individual can achieve in his life . The creation by God and his specific goal has to be defined .

He should be acknowledged that every one has a goal in their life and we have to make sure he come us with a goal and decide that he deserves happiness as he is a fellow being
