1,Urinary leakage,hematuria,bladder spasms,formations of bladder stones,uriteritis,development of periurethral abscess, renal damage and urethral erotion are the main complications of foley.

2,Patients that are unable to move,patients undergone surgery,spinal cord and lower leg trauma,

3,Irrigations help to remove blood form the urinary stream,help to remove the stones

4,perineal hygiene should be done,patensy should be checked,assess the BHP for male patients,assess the need of foleys catheter.

5,it may place in between 2-12 weeks according to the need of the patient

6,The lower UTI can involve the urethra and bladder but the upper UTI affects kidneys the the ureters they are usually severe,the Upper UTI are more rare.
