Answer: Being a healthcare professional, it is important to prevent and promote the health. Some of the disease prevention methods that can be employed such as:

• Creating awareness among people and community about disease prevention methods.
• Encouraging people to participate in the campaign.
• Educating people about healthy lifestyle.
• Reducing the risk of the disease or infection spread in the hospital premises.
• Being aware and concerned while administrating the drug to reduce medical errors.
• Providing cultural competence environment to the patients to reduce health disparities.
• Maintaining proper hygiene and following all the SOPS.
• The information and knowledge provided by the BSN could elevate the method of delivering care to the patients.
• Implementation of the evidence based practice to reduce the disease.
