Ohio government provides licence for various professions such as education, healthcare.

These licence allows the professional to practice is his field by the government. A professional who fails to achieve a licence for his professional is not allowed to practice his profession by the state and is punishable if found violating the rules.

These licence are issued for a certain time period and expires after the period is over. A renewal of licence is then required. Licence renewal is required keep practicing their profession.

If one fails to meet licence requirements he is not allowed to practice his profession in the state of Ohio and if found doing so is punishable under the state law.
