Breast cancer in men rarely spreads to the lymph nodes. Why?
It is seen that breast cancxer is more common in female rather than in male. When breast cells growth becomes fast and uncontrolled leading to breast cancer and further metastasis which is less common in male. When brest cancer goes in metastasis state it can spread to lymph nodes like the under arm areas.
The reason is that the female hormone is responsible for the brest ducts to grow fast, and in case of stathe male the female hormones level is very low which reduces the chances of growth of the brest ducts cells and further metastsis and thus brest cancers in male are rare and if in case it happens it does not enter in the metastasis state i.e. secondary cancer stage and hence in male it rarely spreads to the lymph nodes.
