Hair : Dull and dry, brittle , depigmented, easily plucked , thin and sparse
Eyes : Eye membrane pale, dry may be xeropthalmic , increased vascularity, cornea soft i.e keratomalacia
Skin : Rough, dry ,flanky, swollen , pale , pigmented , lack of fat under the skin, spoonshaped , rigid , brittle.
Weight : can be overweight or underweight depending upon his diet or other factors such as GIT conditions
Tongue : smooth appearance, swollen,beefy red , sores ,atrophic papillae
Good nutrition status :-
Hair : shiny,lustrous, firm, healthy scalp
Eyes : bright , clear , moist
Skin: smooth , good color, moist
Weight : normal for height , age and body build.
Tongue : deep red in appearance , surface papillae present
