As a gediatric Nurse, she should perform all these roles.

As aprovider of care; she should provide the best possible care to the patient.She should plan properly to recover the elderly patients from illness.

As Teacher/educator. While she is caring the elderly patient, she should give comprehensive care to them. So, she should teach them about the healthy lifestyle that they can follow and should teach them what are their do's and dont's when they are having any illness.

As Manager: Since elderly patients are not able to do their task by themsleves, the nurse should always assist them. So, the nurse should plan the activties, which which will not provide a burden but a comfortable and cool environment to them. So, they should plan activties accordingly. Thus they become a Manager.

As advocate; A nurse should take complete responsibility of the elderly patients while they are treating them. So, they should first paln each and every activties and therefore, they become an advocate.They should ensure qualitty care and should make arrangments for delivering high quality care.

As research consumer; Whatever the developments occur in the medical field, they should be aware about that and should find the ratinoale behind each step.

3.One of the competency gudielines necessary for geriartic care is the physiological health consideration, that is the ability of the nurse to assess the cleints health throughproper assessment and management of care. They should be able to identify any bodily illness and chronic health conditions,able to assess the elcetrolyte and acid base balance, medication managemnt and bowel and bladder patterns etc.

As a geriartic nurse, they should have competence in the knowldge,skill, attitude, judgement, and behavour in understanding of normal age related physiological changes, analysing, selecting,and administering valid,reliable assessment,completeing a nusrign history and finding the risk factors within a glance,supporting nutrition and fluid balance etc.
