#. Strokes are more common in the African Americans. African Americans are more likely to have high blood pressure, and they are less likely to have their blood pressure under control and it is the main cause of stroke .

Women's are more affected than males by stroke because they have more events and less likely to recover . Mostly the postmenopausal womens are affected the worse .

#. Health educators can reduce this disparities by providing health education , implementation for emphasis on these race and gender , promotion of use hormonal therapy to reduce the the episodes of vascular disease in women , program on control of hypertension among African American , proper surveillance and observation.
