UNMET NEEDS: unmet needs is concerned with the programs and health care facilities which are not given to any one. Unmet needs are very common in rural areas because they don't know about the government schemes and programs and the health care workers.
One of the best example is "MCH". Government runs MCH program but in poor families mother and babies still suffered.
Example: I saw a patient. She was just 22 year old in emergency. She died in her 2nd trimester due to anemia. They were very poor. She was not taking any iron and folic acid. Her body was swelled, skin becomes yellow and she died.
Unmet needs is also related in the conjugated family. Where tha females mostly not get balanced food and studies.
