Dog bike can lead to rabies if the dogn is rabid.There is no treatment for rabies. prevention is the only measure.
(A) Observe the dog for ten days, if the dog dies within 10 days it was a rabid dog. Take it as a rabid if a stray dog bites and runs away to another station.
(B) Through washing of the bitten part with soap and water.Even the licks should be washed.
(C) Cover the wounds with a clean cloth if available with a sterile dressing and visit to a hospital / clinic.
(D) Vaccination with (ARV)anti rabies vaccine ,or rabi-pur vaccine from the hospital.
