There are so many attempt have been made to integrate them .They started the hospital both general medicin and psychiatric care unit in one setting .better coordination of both mental health care system and medical care holds a promise of better treatment for disturbed individuals in the general health care system .

general health care settings represent an important resourse for mental health care in community .because the emotional stress often related to physical illness .

The initial steps to coordinating both mental and physical health care system ,it includes

-Funding by the department of health ,education ,and welfare

-Allowing more community mental health care center

-Allowing community mental health programms .

-Establish cooperative working condition in health care system .

-Training non psychiatric physician and other health care personal

-Collabrating treatment with non psychiatric health care practioners for those patient with combined physical and mental illness
