CINAHL- Cumulative index for nursing and allied health health literature and  it serves as index of english language and selected other language journal articles related to nursing and other helath care sciences including occupational therapy, physiotherapy, nutrition etc. Cinahl information systems is recognised and certified  by the american nurses Credentialing center's accreditation program and also by international association for continuing education and training. it has full text and 1300 journals, and gives full text for many of used journals in the CINAHL. it has index of  wide variety  of topics including nursing, biomedicine, health science liberianship,alternative and complementary mediicne, consumer health and allied 17 health disciplines.it is easy to deal with basic and advanced search features and searchable cited refernces.

it helps student  to read and locate  health care books,nursing dissertations and selected conference proceedings,standard of practice, audiovisuals and text books. it  covers subject heading in a structured way and it follows MESH terms and key word terms. thereby student can locate subjects easily and clear his doubts, for example,   if one searches for any information regarding any psoitioning, it provides detail regarding this.it has been used for qualitative research if one searches for any data or article, student can locate it in any other language not only english. because it serves as index of english language and selected other language journal articles related to nursing and other helath care sciences and provides evidence based research data and article.it is academic approved one and accepted by academic professionals and acts as a valid source and it provides full text and it serves for self learning and professional purposes.
