• Mr. Young: 65 y.o. - healthy, no medical issue
• Mrs. Young: 58 y.o. with HTN, prediabetes, dyslipidemia but controlled by meds
• Mr. and Mrs. Young were on a flight to visit Mr. Young's dying uncle in Florida last week.
• The uncle has late stage cancer, who developed a cough and SOB for 1 week and was admitted to ICU and later died.
• After staying in Florida for one week, Mr. and Mrs. Young returned home.
• On their flight back to California, Mr. Young developed a cough and stuffy nose but no other symptom.
• Two days later, Mrs. Young also developed a cough and no other symptom.
• Today (a week later), Mr. and Mrs. Young still have a productive cough, slight sore throat (probably from coughing), and no other symptoms.

Both Mr. & Mrs. Young are increasingly concerned about their possible exposure of being on the plane and with the uncle. They emailed today, their clinician, and ask the following questions:

1. Can you order the tests so that we can be screened for COVID-19?
2. We babysit our 20 month old grand-daughter and we also visit our 88 y.o. elderly parents twice a week, can we continue to babysit and visit our elderly parents?
3. Do we need to self-quarantined?
4. How will you respond to the above questions?

The test can be ordered because of travel history, low immunity due to ageing factors,symptoms like cough and sore throat. The dry cough is a typical indicator to suspect covid 19 but here clients have productive cough which decreases their risk to this infection and doubts for other respiratory infections.

Avoid baby sitting and visiting elderly parents as they are prone for any type of infection easily due to the immunity level for at least 14 days and then asymptomatic .

Self quarantine is required in order to prevent transmission of infection due to their risk factors.
